Because the program is interdisciplinary, East Asian courses in other departments (e.g., History, Sociology, History of Arts and Architecture, etc.) are a crucial ingredient of the IDMA program. Speak to the Director of Graduate Studies (Kun Qian) and find out which courses count toward your degree. EALL courses below will help you build a strong intellectual foundation for graduates studies. While language courses numbered 1000 and above may be necessary for your graduate study, they do not count toward your degree requirement.
